Rx Drug Disposal Sites
Unneeded or expired prescriptions left in the home can lead to accidental poisoning and can be an easy source for those seeking to misuse or abuse prescription medication.
Be sure to discard all remaining medication as soon as possible safely and appropriately. You should never flush the medication down the toilet or throw it in the trash. The best disposal of medication is to place it in an approved prescription drug disposal box. These boxes are located in many places in our area. A complete list of locations is below.
If you cannot leave your home safely and need the medication picked up, contact our office, and we will arrange to secure the medication from you and place it in a disposal location.
