The Crawford County Coroner's Office issues authorization to cremate electronically due to the efficiency of maintaining lasting digital records, statistics, ease of access, and short wait times compared to other means. Authorizations are only for deaths that occurred inside Crawford County, MO, and or the injury that occurred leading to death also occurred in Crawford County, MO. Remember that this does not waive any other Missouri legal requirements.
